re: heard of boss xi85 electric shower?

Hi,
Can you help me? I need to replace an electric shower, the make is a Boss xi85 and is fed in from the left. Do ypu think 85 might be refering to it being 8.5kw? can you recommend an eqivalent to replace it?

tank or mains

if the water supply is 15 mm you need to be talking to the sparks
cable sizess etc

The shower in question is tank fed, is it 8.5kw and will any left hand feed electric shower do? just a case of taking off old and putting on new?
am I right? thanks for your help!

Hi,
I'm about to be in the same situation. The xi85 has started making a lot of noise when switched off and the Auto Reset light comes on. I don't know why. How did you get on with your replacement?
