Hi, am just about to re stain my timber conservatory. Its just over ten years old, and there is a little rot which i need to treat and fill first.
Any hints on surface preperation for the new stain greatly appreciated. The wood looks dull now, does it still need lightly rubbing down? Any brand of stain recommeneded? It is a walnut colour and i have previously used Sadolin.
