My dining room floor has a Karndean covering (wood effect vinyl planks).

I didn't lay them but assuming they have been glued as per Karndean's recommendations, does anyone know if it is possible to lift the flooring and re-use it?

I need to do some work under the dining room floor and given how expensive the stuff is don't really want to replace it unless I have to.

Grateful for any input.

If the Karndean has been put down correctly then it's very doubtful you will be able to re-use it after lifting as this will distort the planks out of shape.

Karndean machining is fairly consistent and you should be able to replace any planks with new ones.

Thanks flooringman

Do Karndean planks have a product code/style printed on the back so that if I lifted them I would know which one to buy to patch in?
