Hi all,
Despite having gleaned information off this site for the past two years this is my first post.

I have a front door with a large stained glass panel and two panels down either side.I like how it looks but being an original item from when the house was built (50years ago) it is very draughty.

Is it possible to put the old panels in a new (possibly) PVC door and double glaze them? And although this is a DIY forum, I'd want a proffessional so who would you contact for such a job? a glazier, a joiner?

very confused! :?:

For this one, I'd definitely visit a upvc door manufacturer and explain what you want, which is effectively a bespoke door made.
Some of the small glazing firms around here wouldn't have a problem with that.
John :)

Yes you can do it, we done some recently you should not have a problem, may be a bit sosly as the will probaly have to be cut own

cheers, god, but do you think the glass itself will need cut down?

It's quite old so mightn't stand much slicing and dicing, and what dya mean sosly?

Probably a "typo" for costly. I shouldn't worry too much, mine were not much more than normal and probably as old as yours.
