Hello Everyone,

More plumbing issues.

I have to replace 2 shutoff valves on the pipes leading to my clothes washer. I discovered a leak and when I turn the valves to shutoff the water, the leak continued.
Is there a way to fix the valves without having to replace them? If I do have to reaplce them, is there a way to remove them without cutting the pipes?

thanks

It's not clear to me whether you mean valves that are something like a tap or the ones that join to the hoses.

The former are probably leaking from around the spindle and you will probably get them to stop by tightening the nut nearest the handle.

The latter are a major source of trouble and will need to be replaced if leaking.

can you post a pic :?: they may be nothing like our UK valves
