reasons for pressure increasing

Hello,

What are the other reasons boiler pressure gauge increase beyond the filling loop passing?

My boiler pressure constantly rises and then sits at about 3 bar. Filling loop is not passing. What are the other reasons the pressure could keep increasing? Could it be a faulty gauge?

Have you disconnected the filling loop to eliminate passing?

Heat exchanger perforated
Expansion vessel needs recharging

thanks! the rigid filling loop was fine but then i found another older filling loop lower down the pipes and the valve was knackered on that, so i blanked it off. Thanks for your reply
