First time posting, long time lurking. Hoping someone can help with a dilemma I am having:

Unfortunately some little ****s decided to try and force the back door of a property I’m currently renovating and have bent the rebated butt hinges (middle and bottom; top one is ok).

The hinges on the door have a 22mm leg and a 22-23mm rebate (it’s a little hard to measure because it’s bent but please see photograph attached.

I can only find hinges with a 22mm leg and a 9/11/13mm rebate - what am I missing? Where can I find a suitable replacement for my hinges please?

I cannot fit flag hinges because the door opens tight to the left hand side and flag hinges would limit the opening too much.

Hopefully someone out there can help me with some superior skills/knowledge and many thanks for reading this far!

Those sizes are new to me, so I cannot help, but see below.

What are the hinges made from and do you think they would stand straightening in strong bench mounted vice?

Hi Scally-Ho, yes going to try straightening it in a bench mounted vice. Not entirely sure what they are made from and I am concerned they will be significantly weaker/prone to failure under a similar attack. Going to install some sash locks as additional reinforcement but was hoping to replace the hinges like-for-like for ultimate peace of mind

So long as they are not diecast, then IMO you probably stand a fair chance of making them acceptable. Gently and slowly in several attempts usually works for me with my straightening quests (y)
If your door and frame sizes allow, I suggest hinge bolts for added security. An extra for slowing down the local scrotes.
