Ok this "popped" up today as I wheeled in a bag or two of stuff on the very aged barrow;
Must be about 25 years ago now. Ordered 3 cu mtr of ready mix, was fit back then so on my own, and work to go to for the afternoon shift.
Wheelbarrow at the ready, (but hadn't been used for "a year or 2"")
All arrived on time, nice little heap, no more than an hour to shift.,
Loaded 1st barrow, lifted handles,
Handles came up, barrow didn't, memo to self not to store barrow with hollow handle bars upper most, they had rotted through
3 mates in area but all out, managed to steal one from a back yard but, phew it was close.
