I got a couple of these some time ago and used them as socket plates in a doorframe for mortice rackbolts. They are about 2mm thick and I like the long rigid plate as I think it would spread the force of any kick attack.
I haven't seen similar ones, and this one is rusty due to its position.
Anyone seen similar?
The rackbolt needs a hole of about 15mm for an easy fit.
It's for a heavy hardwood panelled back door.
