Hiya,

Understand laminates are not recommended in bathrooms but under the current situation I can’t get anybody to fit some Lino so I need something I can fit myself. So I am after some recommendations please as we can’t wait any longer to have the room finished.

The floor is currently chipboard as I have removed the old ceramic tiles, the floor is sound and smooth. I have left the wall tiles on meaning there is a 25mm gap between the wall tiles and the floor.

Thanks all.

Fitting Lino yourself would be easier than fitting laminate.

It’s getting hold of the Lino though and I was hoping the laminate underlay doubled up would fill the 25mm gap

Hi Con 1 , I’ve just removed Lino type cushionfloor which became saturated from a dislodged pan connector. However needed a quick solution so went to my local b and m bargains and got some adhesive floor tiles they worked a treat and so easy to fit.
