Hello, was changing old push up loft hatch to drop down hinged one but was wondering what type of catch is best to use will only be 12mm plywood 580x580mm. Did try them touch push to open loft hatch catch from screw fix but they seem poor quality an have heard they can fail sometimes leaving you locked out the loft. Would prefer a pull to open one preferably. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I had exactly the same dilemma 5 years ago and have been very happy with this (although make your own mind up about the appearance)
