Maid the mistake of fitting lap sockets and switches to my kitchen and a few are starting to fail on the switch, so looking for brushed steel with black inserts please

I fitted Varilight ultimate screwless all over my house. They have a great selection of covers and inserts. I chose this over Schneider Electrics due to price. I am happy with them, no failures so far.

If I could turn back time, I might have also considered the new BG Evolve line due to the nicer fixing mechanism. The Varlight screwless line is very flush, so if you use drywall patress boxes on drywall, you can see them. And also the switch "strength" is a bit stronger/louder with Varilight, but that is probably just my OCD...

BG are marginally better than LAP
The reliability of UK Socket-Outlets seems often to come-up on this site!

Being in Australia, I have no experience with UK socket-outlets.

However, we have (basically) only two choices of socket-outlets in this country -
Clipsal (a Schneider Company) and HPM (a Legrand Company).

My preference is for Clipsal, which seem to be very reliable.
Hence this Schneider product may suit the RobTi

It has the additional advantage of having a "Screwless Faceplate".
(Almost all Australian Socket-Outlets and Switches now are made with similar "Screwless Faceplates"
which, IMHO, have a more streamline appearance.)
