Hi all, have half a dome roof over a bay with a covering of lead, it needs replacing because of leak. Is there any other cheaper covering out there as lead is so expensive? Thanks for your time appreciated!!
Depends on the construction and shape, post a picture please. Would you be prepared to change to a flat roof, as you could then use fibreglass, or EDPM, but if you can get a good leadworker, they may be able to weld the hole.
if you post a picture lookin down on the roof it might show more and no replacement needed if the leads not destroyed or somethin like that. even splits can be repared withoutlead welding
is it a 1 or 2 story bay?
