Reduced radiator width

Hi
I am replacing an old single convector rad (1800 wide) with a Stelrad double convector (to match all the others) which is 1600 wide.
Could you tell me if I can buy an adapter piece to take up the 100mm size difference on each side .
If not how is it done ?

you can buy ones that screw into each other.
but to long looks ugly.

May sound silly, but why not buy a 1800 wide new rad?

Rad extensions come in, 10, 20, 30 & 40mm lengths.
