Hi, I am fitting a sink in a narrowboat with a 1 1/2" waste , but the outlet is a 3/4" flexible pipe through the skin fitting.
No U bend is required as it goes straight outside.
Can anyone suggest what fitting/s are available or best way to do it ?
Thankyou Steve

Easy, you can get all sorts. Such as a washing machine spigot, intended to be used the other way round, but the same size. Also, Overflow pipe is about 3/4 and there are adaptors, bushes, etc. Any decent plumber's merchant will have them.

use an 11/2" p trap with a McAlpine washine machine spigot in the outlet, cut off the nozzle where the 3/4" thread is, screw a 3/4" x 22mm FI adaptor onto the plastic thread and insert 22mm copper or 19mm plastic pipe and pipe it away from there, perfectly water tight seal

Wow , those replies were quick ... Thankyou.
Was'nt aware of a 'washing machine spigot' thingy !
Ebayed it .. just the job
Thanks again Steve

McAlpine make a reducer that is 1"1/2 pipe one end, 3/4" Universal outlet the other end.

Just use a normal 1" 1/2 trap then insert the reducer into the trap followed by the 3/4" hose.

Reducer code: R17

Go to a caravan and camping shop, as well as a ships chandlers, and they stock everything you'll need.
