HI,
i'm considering changing my 45year old warm air heating and immersion water heating to a combi boiler and rad system, one slight obstacle is I have a shower pump and thermostatic mixer shower system, the pump part obviously will not be usable with the combi boiler, but I presume the thermostatic mixer will, the issue is the pump is built in under the bath that has only recently been tiled and so is inaccessible, can the pump be left plumbed in with its power removed? I presume the impellars will cause a bit of resistance to the water flow, has anyone had to do this?
thanks.
