this govt were put in to power based on their ability to campaign, using tactics of misinformation, deceit and lies -so in a crisis like this one, what we get is exactly that: lies.
Matt Hancock, a man who received £32k from a lobby group that campaigns to privatise the NHS, is not a man to trust, his dishonesty about testing numbers bears that out -why go all out to get to 100k on the last day of April?

I think the second tier Womens Institute committee could have done better.
NHS is devolved to Wales and the Labour Government here has made an even worse hash of it.
If you look globally there are only a few that are clearly worse than ours. Brazil, the US and probably a handful more. We're at the low end. When you're that bad then anything else is likely to do better (regression to the mean).
