Reform now the largest party in UK

So come on then what is your angle on it then - everyone who is against Brexit always seems to have a personal angle - a partner who is from an EU country, or has other family living there - or once had a villa in Spain or is half whatever country you like - or once made a nice £ out of the EU so what is your angle. Most people who voted FOR brexit had no personal angle on it but voted for it because they believed it was the best for the country - like notch did.
No personal angle. My angle was and still is, free trade with our largest and geographically closest group of countries is hugely beneficial to us, and before you say, "it wasn't free" and, "we paid 350million a week", our EU contributions were small in comparison to the economic benefits.
Another reason why I voted remain is, because Europeans are our allies and we are stronger together. Why do you think Putin wanted Brexit to happen? Because a divided Europe is a weaker Europe, and the more divided Europe gets, the more emboldened Putin becomes.
The people who voted for Brexit were short sited.

We havent left NATO

We haven't had Brexit, it was scuppered - we are still trying to please other countries and follow other countries' rules.

Look at what Trump is doing in America, his attitude is f*ck everyone else, America comes first.

Exactly the way we should be instead of being a country with no back bone and known as suckers to the rest of the world.

Utter crap. We weren't following other country's rules, were following rules drawn up by a collective of countries.
Farage was the one spouting before the referendum that leaving the EU wouldn't mean leaving the single market. Well the Tories decided to go for it and leave the SM and CU, the most economically stupid thing they have ever done. Brextards got what they wanted.

Look at America indeed. Many of Trump's policies are a massive own goal. They are detaining so many supposedly "illegal" immigrants that there are now huge labour shortages, and tariffs are resulting in higher costs for consumers. Look at America for a taste of what a Farage government would look like. Putin is rubbing his hands together with glee watching the West being destroyed from within by self serving, dark money funded, corrupt populists.

Corgi unemployment figures are at an all time low. Mainly because of the very short legs...

It's Gassafe now.

Reminds me of the Two Ronnies line in the news bit they used to do at the end of their programmes. "The government has announced a new scheme to help small business owners. They're going to give them all wooden boxes so they can see over the counter." :giggle:

Gotcha so its all the fault ofRussia,

You can not reach that conclusion from his post.

He stated it was a factor, not the only factor.

Perhaps that Post Office you are always lurking in has an advert for English comprehension lessons, you could do with them

SPLINE, if the U.K. wants to trade with other countries it has to negotiate terms…..and end up following other countries rules.

The U.K. Japan trade deal has a level playing field

The U.K. India deal has a visa deal in it

Poor SPLINE fell for the Vote Leave propaganda that suddenly the U.K. could just do what it likes and impose it on the rest of the world. Muppetry in action
