Reform Policies

Some will be in power for 6 yrs instead of the normal 4, imagine the uproar on here if a certain blonde man in the USA decided to do that.
Labour havent cancelled any elections

so you are talking bolox

and in any case only a 1/3 of those councils that could potentially delay are Labour held -so again you are talking bolox

but like a typical Reform supporter you want to use performative nonsense because you cant debate actual policy

PS how are Reform councils getting on?

but only a 1/3 of the councils that could delay are Labour -so it doesnt prove your point

and anyway if theoretically Labour were delaying elections because they are concerned about the results, those elections would be held in 2028, which would be close to the General Election and thus more damaging

this is just a BS performative nonsense by desperate Reform supporters
you seem to have your narrow focus spectacles on.

Success for Reform even against conservatives is damaging for the Labour Leadership. It confirms Voting intention Polls are the reality.

Motorbiking has his narrow focus spectacles on..............

More Reform councils will be good for Labour

because Reform councils are utterly incompetent and people will see that as an example of how utterly incompetent a Reform govt would be

Are you unhappy that they've slashed immigration and inflation and grown the economy.
Are you joking, or are you completely mad. They have done neither of those things and, in fact, done exactly the opposite.
Do you live in Cloud Cuckoo land?

Nobody believes me when I say I don't really follow the news!

I think the immigration figure is correct, though. Down from 650,000 to 200,000.

We have foxes coming through our garden every night. I'm perfectly happy for them, as they do no damage and our two cats don't seem worried about them. I don't go out of my way to feed them, though, as we might end up being overwhelmed with even more. I assume that they manage to find food elsewhere, as they seem lively enough. All animals have a right to exist.

It's nice to find that you can post some interesting topics, Notch. I shall not automarically scroll past in future.

So, thinking about this a bit more, I can see where I went wrong. I was comparing with the Tories when things were really bad. Net immigration at nearly a million and inflation at 11%. My timescales were a bit off. I don't really follow the minutiae of UK politics any more. There are such massive changes going on in the rest of the world and I try to keep more of an eye on that big picture.

Immigration was 900,000, British nationals and others are leaving the UK in growing numbers.

He's on the wrong side of public opinion with the fox-hunting thing. But I'm still happy he's 99% right, no political leader is ever going to align with 100% of your beliefs.

Get the country safe from invaders who want to harm us, then sort out the other details.

Wrong, that's net migration.

Lots of Brits are saying sod this and leaving - usually the skilled, wealthy talented ones we need.

The Boris wave has ended and inevitably some of them are returning, either as it was temporary or because things didn't work out, as is normal.

Labour have done nothing to reduce immigration. Some words have been said, nothing has happened and probably won't ever because the party will block it.

Don't believe a word Starmer says, he lies very convincingly because he's a very skilled liar.
