Reform Policies

Errr yes. As it's crippling business.

In the Low Pay Commission’s 2019 report, 20 years of the National Minimum Wage, it stated that since 2000 it had commissioned more than 30 research projects looking at the NMW’s effects on hours and employment and had found no strong evidence of negative effects.

Don't forget - if people have more money, particularly those at the low end of the earnings spectrum, they go out and spend it. In a nutshell, nothing cripples a business more than nobody being able to buy what it makes.

The way things are going with this lot and the tories before there'll be one highly paid worker left, the rest will be on the dole, as nobody can afford to employ anyone.

And that would reduce the benefits bill how?

Personally I think it's f------ outrageous that the taxpayer is subsidising the profits of businesses by paying in-work benefits to people who aren't paid enough by their employer.

Nobody's got wealthier as a result of the rises anyway - it's just inflated house rents, bills and everything else.

If rents have gone up landlords have got wealthier.

The one and only reason govts keep raising it is to increase income tax revenue. It's not about helping poor people.

Do some research.

If you blame others you’ll never succeed

How hard will I have to look to find you blaming asylum seekers for 14 years of Tory destruction?

How hard will I have to look to find you blaming immigrants for 14 years of Tory destruction?

How hard will I have to look to find you blaming benefit claimants for 14 years of Tory destruction?

You won’t find it, none of the above is true.

No one will take you and your nonsense on anymore.

If so that will be because the penny has finally dropped that they need intelligent, rational, fact and evidence based arguments to do it.

I’d say, it’s because you’re boring everyone to tears.

Than when? America has always been a country full of a lot of very poor people.

Given the size of the US economy, and the length of time it's been at, or near, the top of a range of size-of-economy tables, does that tell you anything about the way that country has been run?
