Reform will stop the small boats within two weeks ...

All for that. Should have been done decades ago to stop us withering on the vine. Short sighted policies have made it more and more expensive to set up home and have a family. I go to some other EU countries, former Eastern/Central Bloc and it seems they appear to be younger countries with far more indigenous families with several kids. At the same time, immigration hardly registers in these same countries. We need to encourage the natural replacement our own population and educate them properly to do the jobs we need done. Anything else is just short-term stupidity.
Children are a long time investment, a bit like baking a cake, why bother wasting time making your own when you can buy one ready made, same with workers.

The UK fertility rate is at an all time low, something like 1.5 when 2.1 is required just to keep the population at its present level, the effects are already starting to appear, too many old folk and not enough younger workers to pay tax and insurance to cover pensions, even with immigrants coming in.

This is the herd of Elephants in the room that no one wants to acknowledge.
The Tories had a massive majority given to them from the public in order to sort this problem out, yet they did nothing, in fact they had a worse record than Labour.

Maybe it could be that they realised that the low wage business models created by previous Tory administrations required immigrants to be viable.

Whatever anyone on the left thinks, says and does will make no difference to the outcome of the next election, Reform has won and Starmer has lost before it has begun. Nothing Starmer can do now as he has lost all control, nothing the Tories can do to regain public confidence which leaves only one clear winner.
Far rage is a strange shepherd but I suppose it you let him pull the wool over your eyes it makes you a sheep. Let’s hope the undecided idiots who voted leave and regretted it don’t make the same mistake with re form,

The idea that the solution to our economic (read migrant) “problems” is more home grown births is laughable. Brits with bigger families are less likely to do the jobs they don’t do now. Women might have something to say about going back to the days when they had 14 children.

'Far rage' was accused of rage baiting way back about men arriving in boats, at the time it was a far right racist issue. Where are we now, would this not even be an issue to our country.

Last weekend 1000 crossed our channel. Do the maths on below this all comes out of our Taxed incomes to pay for this lot. So when you wonder when an already poorly managed government is in increasing debt unable to support you and your family.

Cost of each migrant per year approx depending on where they are staying. (sources from ChatGPT left in for reference)

Say of those 1000 only half stayed in hotels etc first year
  • 6 months hotel ≈ £31,000
  • 6 months non-hotel ≈ £6,200
  • Processing/admin ≈ £12,000
  • Total per person ≈ £49,200
  • For 1,000: £49,200,000 (£49.2m)

So thats £50million last weekend just gone, all coming from the magic money tree, i bet that really pleases you idiots on here. Why do you have such a hatred for the UK. What did it ever do to you, would love to know.

Sadly that demographic fits the model that says 'insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. '

Even if that figure is correct it's a fraction of the cost of brexit...

Why do those who voted to leave the EU (and who make up a large share of deform devotees) hate the UK even more?

And what about those making billions from the situation?

Like this 'essex boy' for example...

"Essex tycoon Graham King, 57, is now estimated to be worth a staggering £1.015billion after a 35 per cent jump in his fortune made him Britain's first asylum hotel billionaire.

His company, Clearsprings Ready Homes, is paid by the Home Office to provide short-term accommodation for asylum seekers and has a £1.7billion turnover, which means that Mr King and his firm rake in £4.8 million of taxpayers' cash a day"

Do you think he gives a sh*t about the UK's financial situation?

On "Starmer is a Prime Minister with a large majority"... that majority is made up of mainly foreigners and the anti-Britain British. In voter numbers it is possibly the lowest majority ever.

On the costs of hotels vs non hotels vs detention camps vs etc etc....just deport them, they shouldn't be here.

And what about those making billions from the situation?
Well, if successive governments keep letting asylum seekers in, someone somewhere will profit from housing them, dumbo. Are you just upset that the person to earn most from it is a good ol' Essex boy? ;)

Hey, here’s a thought, if you don’t like people profiting from asylum seekers, the best way to stop that is to stop them coming. You can now blame labour for doing f'ck all about it. (y)

'If' the next GE doesn't happen until 2029, then four years is a LONG time in politics as the old saying goes. Yes, that could be four years over which Reform continue to grow in popularity with the Tories and Labour continuing to crumble. By the same token, that isn't the guaranteed outcome depending on exactly what the established parties do over those years.

In my opinion, both parties need leaders, something they don't currently have.
