Advice please re multi fuel stove. What size flue is needed from the stove up through the room and up through the roof? Does it need to be insulated all the way up and out through the roof (It's a warm roof system)? Thanks

Lack of infor I'm afraid. Whcih stove is it. I'll assume you've sized it for the room. Am I right in thinking there's no chimney, in which case it'd need to be a twin wall system,

I'll check the stove details tomorrow but it was previously in a similar size room so will do the job for us. There's no chimney as it's going against a new external wall and out through a flat roof.

The size of the flue depends... Generally 6 inch but may be 5 inch if it is Defra exempt.... The size of the outlet spigot does not determine the size of the flue.. The flue can only be single skin flue where combustibles will be 3 times the diameter of the flue away.... Plasterboard, including fire rated plasterboard is a combustible material. Your flue must be a minimum of 4.5m high and provisions for sweeping must be provided... Your HETAS installer will be pleased to advise further
