Hi, I have a new Multi Fuel Stove for my extension that is part way through being built, what i need to know is the minimum measurment from the backwall to the stove so i can work out where the roof support for the flue needs to go prior to it all being plastered, the stove is a firefox 8 classic with the following dimensions H-615xW-595xD-385 8KW.

I have read the Part j building regs but still not sure on the measurment from the back wall to the back of the stove, i need to sort this out prior to the plastering so any help would be much appreciated !

cheers
Simon

I dont know about others but i would find your post difficult, and perhaps dangerous, to answer - if you have a HETAS tech involved then there's no need to ask on a DIY forum.

Dangerous ????? im not on about installing myself ! I just want to know the minimum distance so i can plan where the roof support is going !

Well it IS in the instructions ;) , but you should engage your installer before proceeding. The instructions are for people who already know things you may not, which the instructions leave out.
There are always unknown unknowns.
