Regulations on trunking cables

Assuming they are all visible and the collective cable capacity deosn't exceed that allowed in the space is there any restriction on where you can or can't trunk cables around a building?

Not that I am aware of. The trunking is visible so there is very little chance of someone drilling a cable, avioding the need for routing in safe zones etc.

iirc trunking is counted as visible wiring and hence not at risk of drill damage etc.

i'd be carefull of the hollow wood trunking products though. some of them are virtually unrecognisable as trunking.
