I am thinking of having new windows and quite like the look of Rehu flush sash.
The majority woulde be 1800x1070 split vertically into 3 with both outers opening.
My question is : because the opening frames don't overlap the mullions are they more likely to become leaky or be noisy given we are in a highly exposed position?
thanks

All these flush sash systems are fairly new so your best bet is probably to find someone who has had them fitted to ask.
Leaks shouldn't be a problem as they usually still have an internal rebate and built in drainage to handle anything that gets past the outer seal.

Noise you would need to ask someone who lives with them. Could you ask your supplier/fitter to give you contact details for someone they have already fitted these for?

Good idea I'll do that tomorrow ..... If these are fairly new they may not have fitted to a property as exposed as mine though but we shall see.

I have done lots of Residence 9 flush sash in some very exposed places with no problems but I dont use Rehau so cant comment on them

Stick with the Residence 9, Rehau Nordic is pricey and only a few suppliers in the UK manufacture it, priced a few before but always ended up supplying R9

roughly how much would R9 be then for 1770 x 1070 split into 3 vertical panes with two outers opening?
My intended supplierhas quoted just under £600 fitted for flush sash and said R9 would be more than double to treble that price?
Not only price but frames are 90mm so more of the reveals would need to cut away to accommodate the extra width.
thanks

edit.
the frames quoted are 70mm profile

Residence would take longer than ali.
Can get aluminium in 10 days if not dual colour
Can the renderers not scratch coat everything and leave the reveals?

Has to be colour outside I'm afraid.
Another problem is the plasterers are going on an extended holiday so have to be finished by end of September.
All old render has already been removed on elevations where new windows are needed.

R7 is the same price as r9. Looking at around 3/4 weeks for r7. Dual colour Ali about the same.

Hi fella

Mind me asking where you go the quote.

I'm currently pricing some upvc versions, coloured foiled.
2x1m wide, 4 panes, these are working out at £800 supply only.

My intended supplierhas quoted just under £600 fitted for flush sash
