The previous occupants of my home for some reason took out the light on the ceiling and replaced with 4 seemingly random sited wall lights switched in pairs.

I want to reinstate the light on the ceiling and get rid of the wall lights.

Looking at the above picture, I'm supposing black and red at the top run to and from what were the existing before/after light fittings. The red/blue/yellow to the switch and the bottom cables run to each individual wall light.

I can remove all bottom cables and replace with pendant wiring, install single gang switch with one redundant wire, remove wall lights, plaster over and try to forget anyone ever thought it was a good idea.

Correct?

Cheers,

Dan

Scrap that, what am I saying.

The terminal block will be replaced by the pendant itself.

The removed lights wiring will be dead, I'm assuming I can just bung that up in the ceiling.
