Remeha 28c + Salus RT500 RF

Hello all and happy xmas,

I've just had a new boiler installed but I have a problem. The boiler is a Remeha 28c and the room stat is a Salus RT500 Rf. All seemed to fine until I turned on the hot water tap and no hot water came out! The hot water is delivered if the stat has called for heat and fired up the boiler but if it is not calling for heat I get no hot water. So, before I call the guy back, is the problem with the boiler or the stat? The stat is only a cheap one so if it's that's the problem I will just get rid and get a better one after xmas, but if it's the boiler I will have to get on to Remeha

its a combi boiler,the room stat has no bearing on your hot water,could be frozen conedensate or cold main.call installer and tell him.try reseting boiler first
