Hi Guys I have a remeha avanta28c and over the past couple of weeks whilst my folks have been staying and the heating has gone back on again the pressure has been fluctuating a fair bit. It has been running at around 3 bar on occasion and the PRV has obviously been opening, as there have been drips coming from the outlet and then the pressure has been down and it has needed topping up.
This has been intermittent for example I needed to top it up twice yesterday but previously it ran fine for over a week and previous to that I had to top it up twice in a week. Last night I did the bag over the PRV outlet trick and it discharged about half a pint of water.
Since then it has run fine again.
Could it be that the expansion vessel needs recharging or something more serious.
