Remote Cylinder Thermostat

Anyone used one of these or got any ideas? Cylinder is boxed in and not easy accessible although I think I can get my hand in to fit stat. I'm looking for a remote control for the stat. Danfoss do one which is wireless but not cheap.
Any other suggestions?
