Remote Light Switch

Hello,

I'm looking for a solution where switching on a light in one area of the room will also trigger a switch on in a different part of the room. Ideally though detection of line voltage on a lighting circuit light which remotely triggers a plug socket to switch on - is there a solution out there for this?

You could do it with wifi control switches and the IFTTT app.

I use Energenie MiHome eTRV, 13A double socket, and light switch, the App Store has many apps to allow you to do all sorts, and it seems the app store is growing, however you do need the hub, and router and internet for it to work.

Have you considered a light or inferred switch to work second lamp?
