Hi there,
my next door neighbour did it, and it looks great, so I did it.
I took out a bulkhead which effectively stopped me from opening the bedroom door properly. Now I have to make it look good.
I want to put a piece of hardboard over the slope and then edge it with some sort of moulding just like my neighbour did, but there is a small problem.
The wall where the bulkhead was attached up to is now exposed right down to the breeze blocks. It is only a small area - triangular in shape and it needs filling in before I can do any other work.
I am a woman who does not know anything about plastering/rendering.. you get the idea.
Please can someone help me by explaining what I should buy, how to mix it, apply it and time scales here would be good too.
Many thanks and hey! great forum!
