Remove an electric shower

Hi, I need to remove an old electric shower in a bathroom where a new shower has already been installed. There controls and shower head/cable have been removed from the old one, so I'm not sure whether it's still connected to the mains or water supply.
Any ideas?

err test for electrickry at the incoming terminal block or check the cu it should be on a dedicated line
