I need to remove the worktop in our utility room but there are four pipes from the boiler that pass through holes drilled in the worktop. There isn't much wiggle room (a mm or two at most around each pipe) so any tips for getting the worktop out while minimising the risk of damaging a pipe?

I can obviously cut most of it away with a jigsaw - it's just that last little bit that worries me!

Cut round close to pipes as you safely can, once removed the remnant will be open chipboard which is easy to break up, or if you are nervous soak with water and it will crumble.
