I'm thinking of removing the window sill in my bathroom and tiling round the recess. how difficult would this be? could I just knock the old sill out?
thanks

i think you mean the window boards?

these are usually let into the plaster each side.

we normally prize the middle of the board up with a crow bar and cut it through with a reciprocating saw.

thus removing it in two pieces.
