Hi all, I need a little help and advice if I may?
I have just moved into our new house which comes with a fully working alarm system. (please see pics if they help?)
We are soon to start renovations and extensions etc and will need to remove the panel and box.
I assume that just removing the fuse in the fused spur will not be sufficient to stop the alarm from going off, am I right in thinking there will be a battery back up in the external bell box?

The long and short of it is that I need to remove it, how do I do it? (y)

Thanks in advance guys.

Pull fuse below panel , open up alarm panel disconnect battery .....now either the outside bell will ring or not ....if so either wait 20 mins and see if it has a cut off timer ( picture of bell box may help ) or get ladders out and disconnect bellbox battery ...Done

Thanks @ sparkymarka, will give it a go soon!
Is it as simple as just 'pulling' a connector off of a battery in the bell box and is it possible to do this (if I need to!) with the alarm sounding. Or will it deafen me
