Removing bay window for cars

Several people I know have bow windows that seem to be unsupported to the naked eye.
I'd go that route if possible.


Years ago my brother's mate owned a big American car that was too long for the garage and he built a "coal bunker " along the back and removed the lower back wall of his garage so the car's nose had somewhere to go!

Just got an estimate on mybuilder.com for around £3,000 so might not be as costly as I thought it would be.

That looks like a well thought out terrace architecturally so seek planning first otherwise you might be wasting your time.

Issue is the council won't drop the kerb unless you meet the minimum distance from the pavement
