Removing ceramic floor tile grout

I have removed ceramic floor tiles from my largish kitchen. Do I have to remove the grout/adhesive that they were fixed onto before laying laminate.(The kitchen floor base is concrete).

If the answer to the above is yes what is the best tool to use, please tell me that I do not need to use a lump hammer and bolster! :cry:

Any help and advice gratefully received.
 
I'd hire a floor sander +roughest paper and a serious dust mask, dont tell the hire shop what you're doing though :o
