About to have the kitchen updated, and the floor has two layers of cork tiles over a concrete floor.

Any advice on hoe the best way is to remove the old cork tiles and prepare the floor for new (non cork) tiles. Will get a proper tiler to lay tiles, but intend doing the prep myself

As the concrete floor is already a few cms higher than the adjoining wooden floor, ant suggestiond for edging to prevent the new tiles chipping or cracking, and to present a clean and tidy edge.

Scraper or spade with lots of hard work.
Nice piece of oak shaped to blend the tiles into the wooden floor. A piece of quadrant is ideal.

Thanks, any product that makes getting the old adhesive off easier?
