Hi All

Appreciate any advice and to save my Xmas!!

I am removing an old knackered dishwasher (Siemens integrated… pipes not be touched since install 15+ years) , and am having trouble with the cold water supply. See pic..

I have tried to unscrew the nut, it moved a bit, but won’t budge any further and don’t want to apply any more force to it in case I make an error. What is the method for this type of fitting? Any tips for fittings that have been there a while?
the waste pipe was clipped in and easy enough to remove..

Ian

You need to hold the isolation valve body to prevent it from moving on the supply pipe , whilst unscrewing the appliance supply hose. Two sets of grips required ,to do that,or a suitable size spanner and grips.
