Removing paint from glass

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to remove layers of gloss paint on glass, i am using a sharp razor blade but it is taking forever....any suggestions please?

Thats what i'm using......is there anything i can use to soften the gloss to aid stripping?

I'm not sure if this will work but I would try persistently soaking it with a sponge, in a good mix of soda crystals and hot water first.

No, its a proper scraper, but i forgot to say it is quite a large area....2 ft x 2ft..

Dab on some nitomores, leave it to bubble up then scrape.
