Hi

I recently took down an old porch from the front of my house (before it fell down), and now the wall around the door is covered in white paint and looks stupid!

I have tried nitromorse and it won't look at it. What can I use to remove this paint from the stonework?

Have you tried a jet wash? they can be pretty effective at close range especially the heated ones.

Hi willtd

I saw a guy using a heat gun and a scraper for exactly the same job. The walls are completely clean from paint.

Hi
I had same problem and used a heat gun and a wire brush.
You just need to ensure you not too harsh with the brush and extend the brush strokes to "feather" out beyond the paint line.
