I have managed to crack the ceramic cistern on my Ideal standard toilet and need to remove it from the pan to replace it. But the wingnuts on the locating bolts are rusted solid and I cant undo them and there is no real access to them. Is the only real solution to remove the toilet completely and then get at the bolts with an angle grinder with a thin cutting disc OR is there an easier way. Help!
