I'm erecting a DIY conservatory which has vertical steel plates which anchor the conservatory to the wall of the house. The documentation recommends removing the pebble dash from the house wall so that the steel plates sit flush with the wall.
What's the best way to remove the pebble dash? I only want to remove it in strips where the plates will meet the wall (typically 8 ft x 4 in strips).
Or would it be better to just fix the plates to the pebble dashed wall and fill behind them with some type of sealant.
Any ideas?
