Removing radiator from combi system

I have removed a radiator from a combi system.
THe radiator fittings are still attached to the feed lines.
I need to cut both feed pipes to fit new ploastic pipe and radiator in a new poisition.
What do I have to do before cutting the pipes

Put a wetsuit on,or alternatively,drain down the heating system

1. turn the boiler off from mains
2.turn the water off feeding the CH system
3.drain the water from the system
