removing silicon smears off glass and glazed tiles in shower

hi

i have recently sealed up my shower enclosure and have a few smears of silicone on the glass and on the tiles in places. i have some Seal Guard to spray on but want to make sure the tiles are silicone free before i apply it.

is hot soapy water the best thing to use??
