This site has given me so much help over the last few months and I can’t thank you all enough!
My next project I’m looking at is removing the encolsed stair case wall on one side along with the living room wall /door.
I’ve knocked a Couple Of Walls Out Before but I’m really unsure of this next section of wall?
It’s single brick and connects to the wall leading up the stairs which is brick
Upto the living room ceiling and the stud (slat and plaster) up the first floor ceiling
Anyway i can’t gfigure
If This Wall Section is a supporting wall Or Not, the joist run the same
Direction of the wall
But i didn’t know if
It would be supporting the stairs
Wall?
Has anyone removed a
Wall like this?
