Hi everyone.

Someone came to my home and removed all the tiles in the bathroom. The trouble is that the two plasterboard walls have now got big holes in them. He said he was as careful as possible, and it took him five hours all together so he didn't rush. I now need to get a plasterer in.

My question is this: Is there a way of removing tiles from plasterboard walls, without wrecking them, that he should have used?

Thanks for you help.

i did this on my bathroom this week anded up taking off all the plaster board aswell, and then ended up putting up new plaster board.

Unfortunately not. Plasterboard is not very strong. It doesn't take much to wreck them. probably worth getting all the plasterboard replaced rather than patching it.

Thanks guys. I just wanted to know if he'd done a good job or caused me trouble and expense.
