Hi,
First post so be gentle!
I need to temporarily remove a towel radiator so I can decorate behind it.
We have a sealed CH system with a combi boiler. The towel rad has inline vertical valves.
My question is, do I need to drain the CH system to remove the towel rad? I've gingerly had a try at loosening the nut above the tap (closest to the towel rad) but this doesn't move. Having looked online I think this must be the tail part of the fitting - never having put one of these on before I'm not sure how it all links up.
Anyway, suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks,

are you turning it the right way ?
and you may want to grip the valve so it doesn't just turn on the pipe.
make sure you have a towel etc down and a bowl ready.
