Removing Wall Lights

Can anyone please tel me how to remove a wall light? How do I isolate the wires (with an isolating switch?) and can I then just plaster over them?
Is it difficult / dangerous????? Thanks!

you should disconnect the supply cables to the wall lights. its be either form a FCU or from a light. once disconnected, you can plaster over them
