Hi, l am new to this forum so hi to all.

I have just painted a new door with dulux woodstain(teak) having let it dry l now realise that it is not going to match the existing doors? l have used a between coats sandpaper but it has had little effect, would l be ok using a heavier paper? l don't want to use a paint stripper ie nitromors.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Its near impossible to remove woodstain as it soaks into the wood surface , you'd need to remove at least a millimetre to get back to bare wood..
